A brilliant live recording of one of Ed's most sensitive songs. In January 2009 he is performing TWICE during Nick Cave's All Tomorrow's Parties. He will be performing with the original line-up of The Saints as well as a reformed Laughing Clowns. I'll be there with bells on!

Ed Kuepper - Everything I've Got Belongs To You (Live In Studio 22) (1999)

Ed co-founded the seminal punk band The Saints, the experimental post-punk group The Laughing Clowns and later the grunge-like The Aints. He has also recorded over a dozen albums in his own name with a variety of backing bands, notably Ed Kuepper and the Yard Goes On Forever, Ed Kuepper and his Oxley Creek Playboys, Ed Kuepper and The Institute Of Nude Wrestling, The Exploding Universe of Ed Kuepper, Ed Kuepper and the New Imperialists and presently Ed Kuepper and the Kowalski Collective.

That guy are so prolific!

  • Definitely one of a kind. Never lowers his standards or sells out.

  • my favourite opening couplet ever - so honest " i have designs on you that come from dirty books, and i'd lie to you if that was what it took" and then becomes a beautifull love song

  • Ed for PM !

  • Wonderful ! A true singer song writer

  • astonishingly talented - songwriter, musician - superb

  • Seemingly in a very personally reflective - more so than usual with this song - phase, one can only wonder at the man behind the genius betimes.

  • Don't know if you guys will believe me but I lived next door to Ed in Camperdown in 1986. The guy came to my 4th birthday party, and his son was my best friend. I even had a t-shirt with a painting of a sailboat by Judi Dransfield... I'm kinda proud, the man is a great musician with amazing integrity.

  • brings a tear to your eye....sheer brilliance

  • What can U say about this great man.

  • This never fails to move me.

  • brilliant and a classic.....love it

  • The human race is viable only if we share
