51st Guards Airborne Regiment airborne training

Video from my recent trip to 51st Guards Airborne Order of the Red Banner Order of Suvorov 3rd class Regiment named after Dmitriy Donskoy of 106th Guards Airborne Division.

Airborne training with conscripts. Training to land from different types of aircrafts. First you can see landing from An-2 model and then landing from IL-76 model.

This is the airborne course for the newcomers before they take an oath. So these soldiers are on on the first month of service.

@Suyamu Thanks. I'm trying to take short videos during press trips. it's not easy to take the pics and video at the same time, thinking about buying photo camera with HD video

@militaryvideo Great video ... Btw do they take the troops on a long run before they take them up for a jump like US airborne troops ? .. I think the Americans do this looking for those who have a weak ankle or knee before a actual jump..

@kamphwagon1 Yes, they usually do the exercises before the jump. not exactly the long run. Sometimes they could jump to the tyres like in the video

@militaryvideo Interesting , notice your thinking about a new video camera maybe you'l get to use it on the new T90 MS, theres not much real good footage out yet of it going trough the diffrent tasks like the T90...
