@Wolf109100 To keep him from sliding around the box so that he stays in place and to provide a slight barrier of insulation. No I'm just kidding it was DEFINITELY for him to read.

@twizitz Many reptiles and some other animals can be shipped with overnight shipping. They arrive within a few hours and come only in warm enough, but not too hot weather and come with a heating pad to keep them warm. I got my Merauke Blue Tongue Skink and will be getting my Argentinian b&w Tegu the same way.

Well Tegus get pretty big and with that meens they need an enclosure that can fit there size i turned my closet into my Tegus cage its 11' by 3' thats the only thing id think would be a huge matter as to which one to choose.

awesome tegu!
im interested in getting one and im going to make the cage 8ft.longx3ft.wide but i have 1 question, can i put a baby in that right away or, wait untill its bigger ? cuz i know in alot of reptiles they should start off in small enclosures

Some people have told me that they should start off in a smaller enclosure thats what i did with mine but in the long run im not 100% sure what would be better or if it would even matter.
