Gears of War 2 Rank Reset-Gay Glitchers

I was legit level 78, I did a public match and the host did the hack or whatever, I only heard of this so didn't know what to do, I could barely move and got like 2 billion points, at the end of the match, everyone was reset to level 1 except the host...

ne step you all could take if you all of a sudden see that you are rank 1, is to go to the Memory settings on the Xbox and delete off your Profile Save data file associated with that GamerTag( not your Campaign file). Your correct information SHOULD pull down from Live, assuming that it hasn't been uploaded to Live (which is most likely part of the bug people are experiencing)

This has happened to me but it wasn't anything to do with the host. I was legit 47 then it reset, got to around 35 again and then it reset again. Does anyone know why this happens because its just caused me to give up on Gears 2 multiplayer? I assume its a glitch/bug with the gears server or something like that

I was lvl 65 and I go to do the am I ably dreaming achievement in a local lobby but when I get to the multiplayer lobby whaaaaaaaaat I'm lvl 1 OMG!

you didn't get reset by the server. Since the integer for experience is signed, when it overflows it becomes and extremely low number in the negatives which look away from your experience (-2 billion or so)
