Stupid and/or Unbelievable episode 2: Abandoning Accounts

This is episode 2 of my series of rant videos. I discuss what I believe to be a serious problem which is abandoning accounts. I think people should not create accounts and not use them thus wasting the websites server space. What I do is I write down the username and password and the website they are associated with in a journal or something and hide it in a safe or some other hard to find location and if I forget the information all I have to do is look up the website in the journal and there goes all my stuff. Another thing I forgot to mention is if you memorize the information, put it into your long term memory and use the account a lot then you probably won't forget it easily. The only excuse should be if the user dies or loses there memory somehow. I think this is a big problem that should be addresed and solved.

Hey Everyone. Youtube is trying to link peoples channel with your google account when you sign in if you joined before 2009. So when I sign in they ask you to link with a google one. I have even heard some people got locked out of their account. So if my channel last sign in is over a year then I was maybe locked out. Also to restate what I said in this vid be sure you memorize the password and username or write it down. I don't have any profiles on the web besides Youtube so less work for me.

This video is so true. I once saw an account that said this: Last sign in: 5 years ago. I was like "What?! Why would you make the account if you don't even sign in?! I mean come on now.." Thank you for at least PROBABLY bringing this problem to YouTube. Thanks wdp! You rock.
