  • problem with the airbus - too many passengers to deal with (assuming they sell it out, and its configured to its max 800+ passengers) the terminal space, time to clean, load, fuel, etc etc will be a big hit to airlines. when an airplane is sitting, it isnt making money. 787 is much more practical for airlines, i think boeing has a good posistion with the 747-800 if the a380 is successful enough to launch the 800, the 800 will be in the same class as the 380.

  • boeingrules, welcome to the club, bro.

  • kinda ironic the roll out date is 7/8/2007 lol

  • What the fuck are you talking about the A380 first flight was not on time. Get your fact straight.

  • I was there on the day it rolled out. I worked on the program for 3 years now. It is the working model. It also the same plane that did the first engine and runway test recently.

  • B787 Dreamliner is the coolest and the best airplane in the world

  • no duh theres gonna be delays.

  • they are all kind of prototypes until they are certified

  • yes

  • Boeing 747 400 is so beautiful and funny not this one hmm 787

  • Delay No. 4 -- another 6 month:

I think the idea of Boeing was not so good to outsource the whole production of the Plastic-Liner to China and Hong Kong.

Sometimes I'm asking myself what the hell did they present us during the Rollout-Ceremony in Seattle? Was it a Wood-Liner stucked together with tons of glue and paint???

  • Another delay annouced today. They havent even started static testing on the 787. At least the A380's first flight was on time. There are still re-designing stuff on the 787. Its a disaster!!!
