Christmas Past 1959-1960

I reached back half a century into the Film Vault and pulled out this old film. This is a short video showing scenes from an average Christmas 50 years ago. If you are old enough to remember those years much of this time capsule may jog your memory. Family and friends gather to eat too much food and be together for the day. I hope you enjoy this short look at the past. Merry Christmas!

I remember those blow up toys, I had a clown one myself once...a time when life was simpler and families really took the time every day not just Christmas. Well, I think Santa was a little more plump and jolly!

I'm only turned 23 on Dec 18,and I enjoy watching videos having to do with the past.Great video,very interesting.Starting a new decade,its always good to go back and look at decades past.Hard to believe 1960 is 50 years ago.
