Thanks for uploading this cartoon! I remember it from 1950s TV and I've been looking for it for years! I've never seen it listed on Looney Tunes DVDs or VHS compilations. The best part is where the band says "if you think we're going on like this all night...."

@fromthesidelines Exactly right about Tex's "big-mouth laughing guy". His virtuoso performance in that was another 1938 short "Hamateur Night", also available on YouTube (or it was). He also very commonly worked one or the other of the Warner Brothers cartoon themes into the main context of his cartoons. A true genius!

That's just Tex's patented "big-mouth laughing guy", Greg'. And the closing line is a reference to Hollywood gossip (and radio) columnist Jimmy Fidler's catchphrase, "And I do...mean YOU".
