Truer words have never been spoken.

Not a day goes by that I don't think about Skippy. He was truely the best horse I have ever had the pleasure to ride. He taught me to love are care for a horse. Everything I know now I owe to him.

I heard once that in every horse persons life they get one good horse. Skippy was that horse for me. And I will never stop thinking about him.

Life is just rolling right along. I know just a month ago I was freaking out about money and life... But I think I'm doing.. Alright.

It's hard to believe that I am done college and have entered into the workforce. A year from now I'll be moving out to my own place, hopefully with my boyfriend, but one can only hope. I have 2 steady jobs now and work around 36- 72 hrs a week. So I'm keep myself busy with my jobs, my friends and of course Jesse.

As for riding, I think I might take a little break.. Focus myself more on my work and my life aspect. Still work in the barn and maybe jump a horse now and again. I would love to continue working with Smokey but after showing him last week, the owners got 3 offers for him. Which I am ultimately happy with, because that was the overall goal. But I cant help feeling upset since I was just starting to get a bond and click with him.

The barn has another 2 horses that I am allowed to work with and ride and show, however I already feel crushed enough having two horses that I loved being sold.

You have definitely taken over Skippy's heart as well. Every time I watched you ride, all I ever saw was his love for you. You have a way with horses and make an impact on each and every one of them.

Just think of how in such little time, you've made Smokey well enough to get offers on him! You should be proud of your accomplishments, of both Skippy and Smokey. (L) Thinking of You.
