I cleansed my hair with a Aloe Vera Shampoo to help with the burns from the ACV rinse. There are many variations out there but I used:
1 c Aloe Vera Gel
1 c Coconut Milk
1/4 c of equal parts Jojoba Oil and Tea Tree Oil

  • I like your hair braided, not pressed, with the color on the ends, not cut. It did look shiny. Thanks for sharing. Maybe a few smaller braids instead of the two larger ones. I like the braid with the curly ends too. I don't know what an ACV is...

  • thanks mcoonz...ACV is Apple Cider Vinegar

  • Girl, my thumbnails look crazy also but who cares!! Don't cut your hair just let it grow out as long as its healthy the color will grow out.

  • thanks NappyBeauty!

  • Be Paint... whats the rush... it's beautiful the way it is...

  • Liberate yourself and CUT! But not too much =) I cut off all my damaged ends (from pressing) a couple months ago but I did it in stages so it wouldn't be such a shock.

  • hello, i live in hawaii and have very easy access to coconuts. Maybe you can give me directions on how i can utilize for my natural hair. conditions, shampoos, treatments, whatever can be made =} thanks.

  • Just to show all naturals that regardless if a product is completely natural it still has to be used in moderation of how much you apply to the hair and it has to be used in consideration of how long its applied to the hair. I was going to try it after I watched a couple tutorials on it. It wasnt until I did my research on it and found out that ACV is a natural acid, so it makes since that you got scalp burns from it. Your video is very informative, sorry for you bad experience.

  • LOL... that was supposed to say be Patient... ;)
