  • What a shame that such an interesting presentation by such an interesting person has to suffer from such unearthly bad audio, so bad that the intelligibility drops almost to zero near the end. Pulsars could be discovered because people understood gain staging and linearity in electronic circuits, and the results of that research couldn't be purveyed here because someone at the end of the chain didn't understand basically the same things at all.

  • What a privelage to listen to someone like this.

  • isn't magnetic south in the north of Canada?

  • 700Hz rotation period? Impossible. Pulsars are something else. They cant be rotating matter. Other than that amazing.

  • I think it sounds like good hardcore/speedcore music! I love pulsars! : )

  • the second one sounds like a f1 v10 engine at 19,000 revs, full scream down hanger straight, silverstone.

  • that pulsa sounds like a v8 dragster on tick over.

  • Funny how this was never shown on the Science Channel this is really good stuff Bravo
