20 Itchen toll bridge collectors;
40 parking enforcement officers;
20 contact supervisors (social care) ;
15 vehicle mechanics;
Next up are members working in Social Care
On 3 August over 450 UNISON and Unite members working in social care are set to strike
The whole of the Safeguarding Division and all of Health and Adult Care
13 port health officers took five days of action
230 building maintenance workers will stage a one day strike
UNISON general secretary Dave Prentis
"Southampton's council staff are loyal public sector workers helping to keep vital services in their local community running through difficult times.
"And by way of thanks the council wants to sack them and re-employ them on worse pay.
"This dispute sends an important message to Southampton council bosses, and to other employers thinking of doing the same, that workers will not take this treatment lying down."
