A really breathtaking performance of this beautiful song. Live in Villingen (Germany) at the Franziskaner Konzerthaus 03/03/2010. This is one of the best King's Singers formations ever. They are so amazing!

Der wundervolle Abschluss eines unvergesslichen Konzertes im Franziskaner, Villingen (3.März 2010). In dieser aktuellen Formation ein absolutes Highlight!

Made under difficult conditions. Handheld cam. Sorry for shaking...
Aufnahme ohne Stativ, 15 m Entfernung, daher ein bisschen wackelig...

Hope, you enjoy it anyways. Hoffe, euch gefällt's trotzdem !

  • @themrqwertymark : That's (from left to right): Paul Phoenix (tenor), Philip Lawson (1st baritone), David Hurley (1st countertenor), Timothy Wayne-Wright (2nd countertenor), Christopher Gabbitas (2nd baritone), and Stephen Connoly (bass). Steve has left the group in 2010 after 23 years of service leaving the bass' spotlight for young Jonathan Howard.

  • Probably England´s best export!

  • Can you see the dislike bar? I can't

  • wow!!!! love it..., :)

  • @starwarsfreak1111 I think it's more like retiring from touring, rather than leaving the group. It's a rigorous schedule.

  • @lebohemien2003 Do you have any idea why Steve left the group?

  • I feel the pain this sweet, lively song must feel. It was written as a fast, lively reel to be danced to, and its very point is simplicity. To make a complex, somber, self-important dirge of it is blasphemy!

  • I am going to do this gorgeous piece with 6 professional singers at my church on November 13. I can't wait to hear it!

  • One of my top favorite pieces of music. Love this version. thanks

  • you're lucky that you were able to record them, my choir went to Canada when i was in high school and they performed in the hotel that we were staying at and we weren't allowed to take pics or record, but were able to meet them afterwards. I got my pic taken with 2 of them
