KDKA-TV News Open

Patrice and Stacy end the 4PM newscast and toss it to... well, whoever pushed the button that plays the tease. There's nothing special about this one, except that it was the first time that the tease theme played itself out completely. Fluid segue into the open, and AH! HOLY CRAP! Breaking News! (Scary...)

WBBM uses the same graphics.. Only difference is CBS 2 Chicago... and KDKA here in the Burgh...I can see KDKA one the second TV stations to GO Local HD.. WPXI will be the first because they are building new buildings..

KDKA uses a crappy interpretation of WBBM's graphics. If you compare the two, WBBM's look comes off as clean and fresh, where KDKA's overuse of the overtstyled Eurostile font and colors that don't show well on TV combine for a look that has aged fay beyond it's one+ year of use.

Plus for sopme reason KDKAs GFX don't quite fit the size of the rest of the newscast, therefore the anchors can be seen below ALL of the opens...blah.
