Green Spotted Puffer

My Tetraedon Nigriviritus one of my little guys in a 30 gallon brackish water tank....notice the snail graveyard....hes already claimed 3 victims in 1 week he also eats shrimp and frozen bloodworms and he is too aggressive for a tankmate if you have any questions just leave a comment i know alot about puffers and other fish

@freakjoshy if your thinking about green spotted puffers 30 for the first one and for every other puffer they need 10 gallons so you could fit4 in there and have room for 2-3 other fish

my comment sounds horrible concidering the research and even what you said about no tankmates, I have in my tank 2 puffers, 3 rosy red goldfish, 2 chinese algae eaters, 1 plecostomus, and 1 rainbow tail shark, is there any sugestions for inexpensive food for my puffers, the rosy reds were origionally food for my puffers, but have gone uneaten, and have grown quickly to the size of my puffers, also, do you have any idea how to tell the gender of a puffer? me neither

well the main thin you need is to not put them in fresh water they most likely die they need at least some salt in them and i have my gsp puffer in full salt water and there fine with my porcupine puffer and clown fish and blue tang

make sure you put a lot of stuff in the tank so they don't get bored. they are very smart. and i would get a bottom feeder to clean up the mess they make. i got a dragon goby and they leave him alone as long as you keep then feed.

I just got my puffers from a friend. They are in fresh water right now and I was told to slowly introduce salt into the tank. I know nothing about them except that I need to get snails to keep their teeth done. HELP!! Any advice is welcomed.
