    The balls are made of naphthalene. An intuitive explanation would be that air bubbles start forming on the ball until they splay enough water for the Arhemidic force to balance out the ball's weight. When they lift the pressure decreases, so the volume of the bubbles and thus the Arhemedic forces increase, making the movement be accelerated when the bubbles rise and decelerated when they sink, as it can be seen. At the surface the pressure is low, bubbles pop,sink and it repeats.

  • You need any piece of cloth made by COTTON. The bubble will not explode but bounce off. Try it! )
