this is the method I use to paint acrylic paintings. no drawing skill required. If you want learn how to use acrylic paint and don't want to spend a ton of cash on supplies I'll show you how. The supplies are student grade and inexpensive. you can get them all for under $15.

  • this blows

  • in my point of view or thinking process i can come up with no other solution then tracing is cheating i can understand as a beginner doing it, but being able to draw is essential to being a portrait artist, you can't trace, its cheating, hahaha... and also what is the point of this painting, you traced it exactly.. and now your copying it exactly... so that when its done, its an exact replica of the printed computer paper... thats not art, that's design

  • Only problem is that tracing something from a photo tends to look blocky, limbs appear wider than on the original image, and so on. OK technique for starting out, no problem, but definitely not a good thing to do long term, IMHO.

  • It's really nice way to do portrait. I loved it. It was a great lesson. Thank you.

  • Your an amazing artist dude, definitely a good lesson! Next time can you pick more boring elevator music? Thanx lol

  • The painting is nice and I like the music a lot!

  • It looks very cool, but I think I can't do something like this XD

  • dude wheres your part 3?

  • You are very skilled with detail work. This process is a good idea for those who are being introduced into painting, so even though I will not use it, I enjoyed hearing your useful commentary and watching you paint.
