I don't advise anybody to go poking around in the Archuleta region in hopes that they'll just stumble upon some vent or entrance. Is finding it worth your life? I happen to know that the decisionmakers in this place don't care a whit about snuffing some random civilian to keep the base in society's blind spot. And it won't be quick. Certain...things down there have a taste for live food.

@noriohaya Thanks Norio! Just saw the photograph - yeah it looks feasible! I wish I could somehow go and visit this place some time!

@noriohaya I was only referring to the Silver Bridge as one of many sites where cattle mutilations have occurred, thought I would add that so other's understand I am aware of more than just that when it concerns this topic. thought about that after posting the first comment..

@noriohaya I would love to learn more about Dulce, and the stories behind all the speculations, I have found some interesting things about it and it still leaves you with more questions.... I have done research on cattle mutilations I had found it also had happened in W.VA as well shortly before the collapse of the silver bridge.
To get to the bottom of the Dulce enigma there has to be a search for these ventilation shafts. There cannot be a artificial underground structure without such. I believe in the reports of these openings, including openings within a canyon area by Mt. Archuleta. There will need to be ventilation shafts above certain tunnels leading to the base, and since at least one or more entrances are located in the actual town itself, hidden or "camouflaged" openings are a possibility.

@Jaoric, yes, however, I believe that ventilation shafts (if the facility exists) may not necessarily be placed directly atop the Mesa.
However, I have seen a photo of what cmay be a ventilation shaft in disguise as a natural opening between two rocks on a side of Mt. Archuleta. The photo was taken by rancher Edmund Gomez who visited Mt. Archuleta in the early 80s with Raleigh Tafoya, who was Dulce police chief at that time. I will try to put it on YouTube shortly.

I am very fascinated with the Dulce after seeing a show on all of this awhile back.

@TheKalypso72, thanks for your comment,. Yes, Dulce has always been a very fascinating subject. The rumors about the alleged Dulce base started around 1979, but lots of strange things were already happening there. For example, in December of 1967 the U.S. exploded a nuclear device deep underground (about 22 miles southwest of Dulce). It was called Project Gasbuggy. Also mysterious cattle mutilations were taking place in Dulce area beginning in the mid 1970's.

Gasbuggy does not rule out a base on Dulce.

@Misstorys, you said it right. Gasbuggy, though, may have had an effect on the base, if it exists.
