Any guy who makes Saturday Night Fever is a genius filmmaker in my book. However, I do wonder how much input he had in the casting and scriptwriting of SNF, because he was actually not the original director? Definitely one of the best movies ever made.

@duinay2 The original director did not care for the first script and Badham came in and developed the original with the writer Norman Wexler to it's final shape. Travolta was the only person cast when Badham came on.
