This can be tricky for learner drivers, as junctions can differ greatly from one to another. This video helps with your positioning and understanding when it is safe to go

  • is that just like a box junction

  • This video is mainly to show learners how to position and how to tell when it's safe to go.

On a box junction, you are allowed to stop on it, providing there is no traffic blocking your exit (ie in the road you are turning into, not oncoming traffic)

Positioning will be the same, box junction or not.

    Hope this helps.

  • 2:10 lol...looks a bit scarier. Cars turn right on your right side and cars turning left or going straight on your left side.

  • @ghidfg everyone is O_o xD

  • @artemavich As an american car driver, i would be scared shitless

  • Very informative.

  • very good, thanks :)

  • This video is great. Have learnt much more from this then my AA instructor. Failed my test the other day, Got a serious because i was waiting for a a gap to turn right and the lights started to change whilst i was there. Apparently i was holding up the traffic behind? Didn't think i was doing anything wrong as this is what i had been taught to do.

  • In New Zealand (which also drives on the left) it is different because you would have right of way if the oncoming traffic was turning left.

  • I'm from Australia and we also drive on the left, we are probably the ones who drive on the correct side as most people are right eye dominant.

  • Excellent video
