it sounds like u need a bigger amp as well. i have 4 mtx jack hammers and have 1 amp to each of them. u will blow those without a box as well id get a ported one dont run all those off 1 amp either ull fry the amp

Dude you will blow them all if you don't use a box, they're getting to much air. I know you said they were in boxes, but still you should put the two good ones in a box ment for them and they will last. I've had Sony Xpload speakers for like 2 years and I've sent full 1200watts for over 8months total time playing them and they still beat strong. Unless your doing something wrong they shouldn't blow.

For a cheap set of subs, they have decent excursion on low power.

@rush4ever1 that depends if your using it for spl or for show when you got people sticking their fingers where their not supposed to go, foam is just as good as any other as long as it doesn't leak.
