  • @FF3Legend I'll disagree as well. Seeing those Wilmington coordinates at 3:57-4:19 give me the shivers and bring back the bad memories. There was and still is a huge tower in the backyard and the winds were so strong that it took the tower partially out of the ground and had it leaning on one side like the leaning tower of Pisa. It was a very frightening sight to look at. Luckily no one in our home was hurt because it was leaning at a safe distance from the house. 

  • The narrator of the opener on this video sounds like Paul Emmick; interesting, since I think 1996 was his first year.

  • I disagree. 2008's Bertha, while impressive, only impacted a land area (Bermuda) as a tropical storm, while the 1996 one hit the U.S. as a 100 mph Category 2.
