That will only protect you from virus. The skulls are used to show who are trustet user accounts and have uploaded good content. Try clicking on "peers" in the program you use to download, and you will see the ip addresses of uploaders/downloaders. They can also see your ip address. That is Where the real danger is, because companies can use that to see who downloads their stuff. So dont think you are safe just because of skulls:)

@ojkrazer Anybody can see your IP through anything on the Internet and if they are skilled enough they can trace it back, even from your favourite games site. With that logic if you want to be 100% safe, don't use the Web.

@ballader1 True and true. However my logic wasnt that you should be 100% safe or dont use the web:) My point was that you need to be more safe than just downloading from skulls. Try masking your ip, entering a private tracker or use another persons internet. Nice tut though, and wery nice channel.

@ojkrazer I totally agree but this tut was for not getting a threat, not about not getting your privacy compromised which is another big section and exceeds Pirate Bay and torrent web sites, it's about the Web. I agree with your points, Thanks!

@AryanMithra the pink skull means it is a trusted user, the green one means VIP, either way if your download has skulls it is 100% safe.

most importantly MAKE SURE YOU HAVE PEERBLOCK TURNED ON AT ALL TIMES! It prevents anti piracy organizations from seeing your ip Thumbs up so others can see

One more tip: Press "SE" and choose the first torrent which *see video above*. Best when there are too many torrents listed. Good for fast downloading.
