ya. foreclosure phil will stay right at mccain's side. really, it's important to connect the dots here. mccain->keating 5 banking scandal->phil gramm-->enron & subprime scandals...
it all comes back to stealing money. that's what its alll about for these people.
Talk about being thrown under the bus. Gramm is/was (?) one of McCain's closest friends & advisors. What's amazing is that what Gramm said wasn't new or especially untrue. Apparently we aren't "technically" in a recession yet, though it sure does feel like it to the average Joe. And America is a nation of whiners whether we like to hear it or not. The outcry over the whiner comment actually proves we are whiners. Gramm (not somebody I like) was just incredibly undiplomatic stating the truth.
oh, they play by the rules. They just make sure they are the ones writing them.
