Kentaro Tanaka (Japan) wins against Alejandro Navarro (Spain) at the 2009 World Weight Champs on the 23rd of August. This is the final extension of a 3 round fight. Tanaka eventually won it by tamashiwari, board breaking. Tanaka 18 boards, Navarro 17.

  • For goodness sake, everywhere I read the same comments : "Navarro should have won, jap judges are crap".

    The fact that Navarro is spanish and Tanaka japanese doesn't mean that judges didn't do their work right... Navarro should NOT have won, NOR Tanaka. None of the two fighters took a significative advantage...

    BTW, in the 1st and 2d rounds, one judge voted for Navarro... He won by tameshiwari in 2007 in the same circumstances. This time is Tanaka's turn I guess.
