  • @CavemanShelbs Some people. But be more comprehensive. Some because they'll be caught, others because they want to keep the product/service going, others (including myself) just can't live with ourselves if we knowingly cheat someone the guilt is crushing-- its our empathetic response system, and others religious and superstition. There. That comprises pretty much all of the reasons. Stay human.

  • I would rape the shit out of the honors system

  • I would have demolished that buffet!!!

  • this video has restored my faith in humanity

  • People think they are being watched. Human nature is not "moral" or whatever else people want to say and think. People think that if they don't pay, they'll get caught.

  • Great special. Everyone should see it.

  • The buffet didn't work because there was no opportunity to reciprocate. If the "SFN" sign was taken down and a collection bin was introduced to the buffet line, most people would willingly pay for the food. The key here is voluntary exchange. People, and monkeys, understand the principle that says voluntary exchange creates value. When people are free to exchange, everyone prospers.

  • I agree with you.

  • This is based on community only. You cannot do business like this if you dont know the people. I know one store owner in my town. He only watch television all day, and got all the prices on every items. Im not sure if something happened to his store. But as far as I know nothing's bad. But of course, doing this is based on community trust and honesty. Only an ignorant and slimy ideas would do such thing and not being a trustworthy person.
