I saw a remake of this some time in the early seventies on TV, and I don't remember anything about it at all except for the way the announcer introduced it. Never saw this one until now.

@zarzar17 no it's no big deal. Good thing you're getting into old movies - some quality stuff in those old films. I was surprised that you never heard of Jimmy Stewart - my daughter (age 14) has - but then her parents are old fogies that watch old movies - and with one TV she's sort of stuck :)
