This is a lighting test for my canon FS200 in both bright and dark conditions, as well as a demo of the wind filter 41x zoom, and image stabilizer. This is a brilliant camera that I highly recommend! Please comment, rate, and subscribe!

  • Hi, i got this camera recently but when i use the auto focus option there is a "whirrrr" sounding noise from an internal monitor...I read it was from the focus motor inside but its picking up on video. when i play them back the sounds is there and it's a distraction in silence. i only have this problem when i use the auto focus option. is this normal? or is it a defect in the camera i got?

  • @WindmillTea Heyo, Sorry I took so long to respond. I have that same problem with my camera actually. So I don't know how common that annoying noise is in other camera's though.

  • What editing program do you use?

  • @JUANMANUELFILM at the time, I used iMovie HD. Since then my mac died so I haven't done much editing in awhile.

  • @Jschwar7 open imovie and connect the camera through usb (or use the SD card in a card reader) go into the import options and use "import from camera"

the files will be saved directly into imovie's event storage folders.

  • i found it for 100 bucks.

  • You mentioned that it records in the outdated format of mpeg2 but your imovie 9 reads it. I have imovie 08 and it cannot recognize it at all. Plus when I copied the files to my harddrive, they came out in two files. .mod and .moi Any idea how I can read these?

  • @HenkibenkiSan Hey, thanks so much for both your responses to my question :) I really appreciate it! I will try adding the external microphone and see if that works for me, thanks very much 4 the help :)!

  • @WindmillTea this is the motor for the auto focus. you can get rid of that if you plug in an external mic.

  • 99 dollars in the cannon refurb section :)
