The Kageshin Dojo, located in Baltimore, Maryland, of the Genbukan World Ninpo Bugei Federation was invited to do a ninjutsu demonstration while celebrating Japanese tradition at the Cherry Blossom Festival.

Because Ima Shidoshi and i will start as a mu kyu in the bujinkan not that its a big deal but Im like learning eveyrthing over while Im in the Genbukan Ima start my own ninjutsu organization its going to be mixed w elements from both bujinkan and genbukan I wonder how would that work?

I like the way you guys move! good job. I have been a member of the bujinkan since 2005 and now Im about to go to the Genbukan not because I wanted to but my sensei stopped teaching and their isnt anymore Bujinkan schools in Chicago. Do you guys feel I might be going backwards?

Great stuff guys, keep up the spirit. Your kotegash and arm-bar reversals are like nothing i've seen before. One small point I notice most guys landing on their knee with their back roll. It's not so bad on the matt, on the street it could take quite a bit of fight out of you. I found that adding a little thrusting kick with the leg that's about to land clears the knee and lets me land with the foot first. Ous!!!

to be honest, i am glad that the genbukan has not been quite so infiltrated by the poser ninjer wannabe,...
you do justice to Takamatsu's curriculum.
like i said though...
my only beef is people calling it ninjutsu, ninpo, or pretending the ninja thing from takamatsu was anything more than a marketing ploy based off of some things he may or may not have found in the kuki archive...
either way, the ninja thing needs to die out. in a real bad way...

@wasabi107 Everyone is different really. Some take 3 years, some take 6 or more even. I hope you're still training.
