  • This is such a great song, but it was never a big hit, it deserves. Lulu makes an excellent version. England had such fantastic female singers in their prime in the sixties like Lulu, Dusty Springfield, Cilla Black, Sandie Shaw, Shirley Bassey, Petula Clark and so on. It will never happen again.

  • Like fine wine. She sure does keep getting better!!!

  • Is it my imagination or were a couple of her dancers regular backup dancers for Steps during their concerts?

  • @njezan1 Beautiful LuLu was indeed a Scottish singer... Lulu Kennedy-Cairns cheers!! Long live 60's girl singers!!

  • Just like fine wine......still got it girl...

  • @njezan1 so true I loved them, all

  • Absolutey fantastic. Lulu grows with age!

  • Lulu really puts it down on this song. She can really sing - so soulful. I just love her.

  • She is so beautiful, and loved the man that wiggled his eyebrows at her. Awesome song.

  • Thank you jemb2000 for correcting me. Once again the British people showed better taste, than the Americans. I checked it, and I was glad that the Elgins reached Nr. 3 with this song.

I checked also the Billboard charts and saw that the Elgins(original record) reached Nr. 50 in 1966, but Bonnie Pointer was even Nr. 11 in 1979, so that it was a hit on both sides of the Atlantic.
