It is hard to figure out how to do this. Can we play games as part of the rest? Can we plant or do hobbies? What does God's word say about these questions? How do you do this with the basic needs of cleaning and making food? I am trying to figure all of this out.

Wonderful video! As one from an Orthodox background it kind of does not sit well that you are using a Tallit as a table cloth. Still Wonderful video, may Yeshua Truly Bless you! @MenechemShaul where does it say in torah you have to have a prayer shawl? It doesn't but talks about fringes on your garment to wear always.

@MenechemShaul What are you talking about Catholic Body? How about going back to the time of the apostles and keeping what they kept. Joining the Israel of God. Catholicism isn't even in the bible.

@studentinlearning The way you keep the sabbath holy is by Devoting it soley to God. If you are planning to do games you should always ask "is this about God?" You can ask that for everything you do on the sabbath to keep yourself in check. You cant buy or sell on the sabbath (Neh 13:15-18) You cannot speak your own words meaning you cant talk about the new car you just bought, your watch etc. Isaiah 58:13 explains what else. The great part is everytime you do the sabbath you'll please God.

People put quite a bit of emphasis on the word "remember", but if you notice in Exodus 16 when he first shared the sabbath with mankind, the word remember was not used.

Also, the word remember was not just used of the sabbath, it was also used of the day they were set free from Egypt. And they were told to "remember this day".

the sabbath was made for man not man for the sabbath mark:2:27.... the fourth comm. is telling us to remember cause god knew we would forget and also to remember the creator as god himself rested and god did'nt it . we are folllowing christ right and he kept the sabath and so should we he is lord of the sabath mark2:28...

"remember" means not to forget and that's exactly what happen and to also remember god as the creator and that he rested the seventh day the sabath was made for man not man for the sabbath which means we need the sabbath not the sabbath need us mark:2:27.. out of all the days of the week were we do our everyday stuff and god ask for one day and that is seventh day and we can't give cause we think we can't keep it sounds selfish it can be kept as Christ

@The1Antonio1 listen Adventists is all Christianity it means looking forward to Christ's coming which means nearly the world who are baptized believers are advents now seventh day Adventists are people who observe the sabbath and keep it through god u can keep it's not saying u're a perfect christian because everything Christ did we can do on earth the word says that and Christ keep the sabbath here on earth as it was his custom to go in the synagogue on sabbath.
