http://geeks.pirillo.com - http://live.pirillo.com - I've been using a Canon GL2 connected to a Mac Mini to broadcast my live stream. It's been tapped out at about 23 frames per second. Of course, it taps out even more because of all the extra elements I bring into it. So, I'm using a different camera now. http://chris.pirillo.com Distributed by Tubemogul.

  • your just jealous of his awesome freakin skills!

  • Well, it is (was) a live stream, so the quality will decrease significantly, especial frame rate (which causes lag).

  • @PeterFoldberg I apologize for my mistake :)

  • @AJCShow you're*

  • do you think you could give me a coupon on a hv30?

  • yes

  • nice, i got the vixia hv40... not much difference except progressive 24 fps recording.. runs tapes slower to get the actual 24fps video.

  • @toclarify

    yes

  • So you can't use a Camcorder as a webcam via USB on a Mac?

Cause I have the MacBook Pro late 2008 unibody and it doesn't have firewire :(

  • I have Canon Optura XI DV cam and shoot with no tape and no SD card. Just firewire cable to MacBookPro into iChat or QuickTime or iMovie. Sound comes from camera mics but I'll be trying connecting to sound desk to take sound from stage mics when shooting my son's band Black River Drive.

  • So does this camcorders still take DV tapes then? I'm confused
