  • I think it's amazing that we have a black president, and am glad that my great-grandparents are alive to experience it.

But I think it's terrible that having a black president is an amazing thing. Ya know? Haha.

  • The longer this presidency goes on the less it matters that he is black because bush is gone and Obama is a good man.

  • I hoped we would be so much farther along by now. It's kind of breaking my heart. I see a shift happening and the reaction from the people in power is scary. As Faulkner wrote, "The past isn't dead. It isn't even past." It almost feels like we're back in the era when he wrote that. We seem to be sliding backward. I don't ever remember more intense divides in our country. I am still hopeful for a change. I am still working for that change. But sometimes ... sometimes it makes me cry.

  • Brilliant Homie! Damn! Well Said..

  • @Backmanmatt ..clothes. What im saying is that if everyone was the same the world would be dull and after awhile our advancements in anythings would eventually come to a cease. However, with our individuality the world is more exciting because we are able tobounce ideas off of each other, people think differently, and we learn about the human race. With this route we also clash with each other which causes racism, ect..The price for completly destroying racism is the price of our individuality

  • @Backmanmatt I strongly think its important to recognize our differences in appearences, you could learn a lot about an individual person or group of people that way. However, since we are all influenced differently by factors beyond our control such as race, family, time of birth, ect. we will never completly understand another person. With this being said, people are usually prone to be afraid of things that they dont understand. I feel the same goes for people wether it is race or even....

  • @SeparatedApollo You really need to watch his video "Being Over Race". I think he's right in saying that being a post-racial society isn't about negating the appearances of those in which we interact with everyday, but being able to recognize and respect the differences in appearance.

I don't know the guy who makes these videos, but I know that he has an interracial background and that more than likely he was raised differently than I was, and I can respect that and talk about it openly.

  • I think it's enough if we become oblivious to race. Race is not a proper scientific term anyway. It's a breeder's term.

In biology, the only taxon below the species level is subspecies. The science community is in agreement that the human species has no subspecies. And yet the USA still talks about race as if people were domestic animals.

Nobody needs to become color blind. But Skin color is just another trait like hair color, eye color, or shoe size. There are no races. Race is a racist term.

  • Fuck obama, fuck the world, and last but not least fuck this fake ass society... fluoridated public water, genetically modified foods, Mind fucking programs on television (don't watch no more), schools that only exploit us to follow another mans image (limited choices)... so i here by say FUUUUUUUUUUUUUCCKKK the world, woo that felt good... So fuck you too for letting them win !... you know some people are aware, some are not... I wish yall understand !

  • If you want rasicm to be destroyed everyone must become oblivious to appearences

  • It's not about being perfect, it's about believing that we can always be better. :)

  • why cant dr kings dream have a finish line? i like your video and think it is on point. but why is it unreasonable to fulfill a dream? as long as we think this dream cannot be filled, then it will not be. human beings may not be "perfect" as you define it but we ARE. We are of higher and lower self. By reaching a balance, and evolving as individuals and communities, we can reach our dreams. the most unimaginable things have been reach and accomplished on this world...
