Not necessarily. First off taxes don't have to be raised, and so far they haven't, obama has lowered taxes. Secondly, some taxes are actually worth it, sweden has extremely high taxes, but their standard of living and health care is one of the best in the world, America is one of the worst (for a 1st world country).
It just takes a bit of logic, not this ignorant paranoia I see displayed in this vid.
