In Japan, 1990, an anime series called Kyatto Ninden Teyandee was produced by Tatsunoko Productions; this was introduced a year later to western audiences by Saban Entertainment under the name Samurai Pizza Cats.

The only anime ever to GET BETTER when mercilessly butchered in transition to north american audiences. In completely unrelated news, i believe i heard somewhere that the singer was drunk while he did this. This is now TRUFAX.

The really odd thing for me is I saw a few clips of this show on some episodes of Saban's Masked Rider. I thought it was just for some comedy relief or something until I saw the actually show on WB11. Great show.

It's funny... I remember back in kindergarten you either like TMNT or Samurai Pizza Cats... I always liked this show better than TMNT, I still have no idea why.
