There is a deep division in society: Between those who want to work and enjoy the fruits of their labor & abide by & uphold the Constitution, and an increasing number of what has become fashionable to call the "disaffected", the "disadvantaged", the "differently motivated". What we used to call lazy people, dishonest people, people who do not want to take responsibility for their actions or their lives.
We are not a nation of social workers, or eco cranks but a great and proud nation.
I think what you guys are doing is brilliant. I am currently finishing my degree in environmental conservation and countryside management, and i have just a year left. As soon as i finish my degree, i will be looking to join in with this!!!
@PHILIPCMPHILIP - Where does all your hate come from. Just because you choose to live your life a certain way (which you as a person have that right to do, not just your human right, but also your natural right), these people choose to live their life this way. And your ignorance blinds you to what these people are doing, they believe in what they are doing and i certainly do. wether you like it or not, one day sustainability is going to have to be the be all and end all. overpopulation !!
If you are playing by the rules in one of the neighbouring apartments - You will have worked hard to pay the more than £1200 rates and nearly £1M to purchase there. Where is the justice in freeloading?
What about the rights of the local hard working rate payers not to have their way of life disrupted by desirables?
I will celebrate when you leave and that day is sooner than you might think!
@GodalonethroughQuran If you think it's easy to grow your own food, heat your own house, and depend on nothing but yourself, a day at work behind a counter or computer must seem like a walk in the park for you!
.... Real sustainable - with out all the things they're claiming they don't need, they wouldn't have what they have... Being 'donated' something isn't sustainable, or a possibility for everyone like Mr Upper Class Tim But Tim suggests.
