This slideshow features a collection of my 80 favourite shots of "Aotearoa", taken during my 5-months-stay in the second half of 2006.
The music is by the great New Zealand singer Hayley Westenra. First one is Pokarekare Ana, a Maori song, the second one is the national anthem in both Maori and English. Hope you like the photos and enjoy it! Great country!

@klooneyville1 oh crikey! When we start having hurricanes like the Americans did in New Orleans, heatwaves like the Aussies do in WA and Vic, torrential rain like they did in Pakistan or tsunamis like they did in Samoa then the weather could be given a hard time here - but overall we're pretty lucky dont you think?

When i see pictures of new zealand hear its music i just want to leave the uk and go there the dulll wet and windy weather we have here and all the other problems we get. Great Britain theres nothing about it thats great unless over populated stabbings and murders almost weekly and out of control kids is your idea of great then these islands are not great however seeing that shows to be a truly great country which realy should carry the title of great because new zealand truely is great
