It's only a few scared little men who put about the ideas that because a woman is a feminist she's somehow vitreolic, hateful and less than female.

Just heard this band recently. I LOVE THIS!! Where does this band come from? How long have they been around? Where can I find out more?

Love this sound! part country, part bluegrass with a little folk rock all mixed together.

Jessie Havey is beautiful, who is the Mohawk warrior?

@debspeelman Me too!

@tinachipp They're a French/Canadian band from Winnipeg(: & I'm not sure where you can find out more, the singer you hear now isn't their singer anymore unfortunately, Jessie, She was my idol. I got to hang with them backstage at Swannee music fest in Live Oak. Amazing people.

Unfortunately, the Duhks appear to be on a semi-permanent hiatus, which is a great loss. This is an exciting, creative band. They feature great instrumental and vocal talents and they've concocted a terrific blend of celtic, roots and new roots folk. Very exciting. Would love to see them regroup and come on down to Texas!

@tinachipp The Duhks are from Winnipeg, MB Canada!! The lead singer is Jessica Havey, an influential figure in Winnipeg's theatre/musical arts scene.

It's nice to see how this band has grown. A very nice bluesy touch. keep it up!

This singer is Jesse Havey - I like her a whole lot better than Sarah. I miss the band with her.

@tinachipp I don't know when they became famous, but their singer now Sarah Dugas is from Canada.
