This is an iClone 4.0 showcase created in 3 hours starring Jim Morrison. American rock singer and poet who achieved after his death a cult position among fans. Morrison wished to be accepted as a serious artist, and he published such collections of poetry as An American Prayer (1970) and The Lords and The New Creatures (1971). The song lyrics Morrison wrote for The Doors much reflected the tensions of the time drug culture, the antiwar movement, avant-garde art. With his early death Morrison has been seen as a voluntary victim of the destructive forces in pop culture. However, he was not ignorat about the consequences of fame and his position as an idol. Morrison once confessed that "We're more interested in the dark side of life, the evil thing, the night time." This is his "Kingdoms of our Own" from the Jim Morrison Scrapbook by: James Henke

  • Amazing. Thanks. Hey, what's in that cd that comes with that scrapbook? Thanks again.

  • 1 unreleased poem and 2 full-length interviews...it's worth it fo the drawings alone though

  • thats insanely good animation movement technique

  • Thanks FILMMC, it's mostly stock character animation blended together along with the Morrison WAV and some Puppeteering editing inside iClone 4.0. Built in 3 hours, start to finish.

  • Im working on a full feature short using IC3Pro and Ctalk but I find the animation sequences harder to exact the way I want it. Does IC4 have puppeteering that is different to IC3? please advise as this is of much greater interest if it does have marked improvements on timing and speed of movement, which I have always found really tricky to master

  • Hey FilmMaker, YES, iClone 4 makes a major leap in the right direction with Facial Animation and the introduction of the Puppeteering Panel into iClone. I'm not 100% sure what you mean by "marked" improvments, but I can assure you all the functionallity of the PP from CrazyTalk 6.0 is now fully available in the real-time 3D environment. Make the upgrade to both CT and iClone today!

  • does it have an "undo" now?

  • Very nice indeed.

I got iClone SE with with Movie Edit Pro Plus but haven't had time to try it yet. Looks like fun.

  • that is MIND BLOWINGLY GOOD news lol

I cant wait cos I already have a lot of fun with CT6 pro & IC3.2 Pro so when I have some money I will spend it on all that. Your software is making some really seriously cool changes.. I like where its going with the animals and dragons because THAT is gonna be just incredible fun for someone like me. Im making a historic movie short at the moment and have chosen it to be essentially in black and white. I will upload it when its complete - great news man!

  • Love the flowing hair!
