Wow, Rob Grill used to look so hot ... and I love the song ... The Grass Roots were brilliant. I have never heard abt them before, just found the midnight confessions video by chance on youtube and fell in love with their music. I have asked my dad if he remembers whether the band was very successful he said the name rings a bell but he cudnt remember any specific song. Well, they werent too popular in germany but for me they are my heroes :p ...

That dancer was Byron Gilliam. He was a regular on this show and also performed at times. He was also regular on the first season of Rowan and Martin's Laugh-in.
He was a professional dancer and probably the best free style dancer that ever lived. He also choreographed dances from the Banana Split show.
He also looks like Jesse Jackson.
