This Christmas was going to be a bit of a change for my family, as we all headed up north to our original home-state of Illinois to spend the Holidays with my brother, his wife, and their six month old boy.
I've been writing and acting and editing my web-series so much that I sometimes forget how much I love shooting without a script. My family's now used to having me shove the camera in their faces, and this Christmas was no exception.
But I was determined to make a different kind of Christmas video for us this year. This is now my third edited 'home-video' of our family during the Holidays, and I've gotten comfortable with my 60D and 50m lens. I will be purchasing a couple more lenses soon, and have decided to take this business seriously.
The song, 'Baby Please Come Home', is a tie-in to my 'Hangin' with Justins Christmas Spectacular', and it's performed by Death Cab for Cutie. It's an amazingly haunted version that I'd never heard until recently, and as soon as I did, I knew I had to use it for this year's film.
Well, that's enough from me. Please Enjoy my Family. I love them.
