How NOT To Drive - Dual Laned Roundabouts

7am heading into Auckland central

I was at the Highbrook motorway onramp roundabout travelling in the right lane, turning into the Northern Motorway.

When a white car cut across my lane to enter the Southern motorway.

What an idiot. Using the left hand lane to turn around at a roundabout!

He may have just got lost and did not know where he was going to come off the roundabout if it were in an unfamiliar area. However even if he was lot, he should have just came off at the turning then could always turn around somewhere and go back (without putting other drivers in danger by doing something he shouldn't do)

I had this happen to me at the smallest double lane roundabout I know of. I was going straight on the inside lane, and they decided they were going right last minute. I managed to stop when I realised what they were about to do, but I honked at them quite angrily.

Grrr silly drivers.

I often wonder about this myself. I think a lot of them are non-British drivers from countries where they just don't do roundabouts so they've got no idea how to deal with one.

@iDriveSoM hey, how can you deal with people using the left lane to take 3rd exit (turning right)? also what can you do about people undertaking you on roundabouts making it difficult to exit? i'm a fairly new driver and have nearly crashed twice due to people doing things like this.
