You have exhausted all lifts this season :) Is it M3 ? Why not big ears + speed ?

This is not an attempt to spiral! The pilot is doing only 360's. At 3:30 the lift is between 5 and 6 m/s and is possible to escape in a 15 m/s spiral. Spiral = facing the ground. Pull it in harder!

I wonder if your 360 is a bit shy, isn't it ? Did you experiment a 360 with more angle in SIV ? ...A bit scary alone in nowhereland...

Very cool pilot - loses some altitude with a spiraol and then points away from the cloud....but tend to agree big ears and bar would be my first choice at you move away form the clooud.

The glider was an Ozone M3 S, flown 20% over the max weight : was not very stable in big ears. The initial spiraling did not result in any altitude loss, just prolonging the inevitable. I started trying to loose altitude 3000ft below cloudbase and still got sucked in. Spiraling in the cloud resulted in a loss of control and locked in spiral but at least I dropped into the clear and then continued down more under control all the way to the ground : flight over due to safety and airspace reasons.
