Don Diablo:

Don Diablo is an Amsterdam-based artist/musician, who produces his own music, writes and sings his own songs, does remixes and production work for other artists and used to host a monthly Saturday night show on national radio in his own country. Furthermore, he makes music for motion pictures and commercials, runs two record labels to push and create opportunities for a new generation of talented producers, directs his own music videos, and as an ambassador for Dance4Life - an international UN-supported action campaign to fight back against HIV and AIDS - he stays active on the charity front. At the end of 2006 for instance, he travelled to South Africa to visit several Dance4Life affiliated projects in Johannesburg and Cape Town. MTV Networks shot an intense documentary of Don Diablo's visit to these projects.[3]

After signing his first record deal at age fifteen, Don Diablo has had the opportunity to grow as a producer as well as an artist. His music is a refreshing blend of musical styles; rock, electro, and hip hop are the main ingredients. In 2004 Don Diablo released his first album through Universal Music, which spawned two chart hits, both accompanied by futuristic videos. At the end of 2005, Don Diablo founded his own record label and event brand, Sellout Sessions, and started fine-tuning his own sound and raising his profile in his native country, the Netherlands. Chart success followed soon after with hits like "Blow," "Who's Your Daddy," "I Need to Know," "Stand Up," "This Way," and "Pain Is Temporary, Pride Is Forever" storming the mainstream charts. "Blow" was the first single to be rolled out internationally and got licensed to over ten territories after creating quite a buzz in the club scene.

2007 saw Don Diablo doing over 250 sold-out shows as a performing artist. His hectic tour schedule has taken him from London to Tokyo and from Miami to Sydney. Furthermore, Don Diablo proved to be hot in more ways than one in 2007: one of his music videos got nominated for an TMF Award in the category "Best Music Video 2007"[4], he was voted "Best Dressed Man of the Year" by Esquire Magazine[5], while also being named "Most Popular Dutch DJ" at the GKA Awards[6].

At the end of 2007, Don Diablo also participated in the prestigious Public Enemy "Bring the Noise/Give It Up" remix project together with Ferry Corsten and Benny Benassi[7], whose remix of "Bring the Noise" eventually resulted in a Grammy Award for "Best Remix". Don Diablo has done remixes for such diverse artists as The Young Punx, Newton Faulkner, Kraak & Smaak, and Tami Chynn, to name but a few.

Don Diablo has also proved his ability in A & R by discovering, signing and then licensing the UK top 3 chart hit Exceeder by Mason. The record was originally signed to Middle of the Road; a record label set up by Don Diablo and club promoter Roy Avni.

Don Diablo released Life Is a Festival in Fall 2009 through Sony Music. The album was supported by eight music videos. The original work title of this album was Respect Doesn't Pay the Bills. The title song of the album, "Life is a Festival," has also been used as the title song of a Dutch film called Radeloos[8] from the book by Carry Slee. The movie was a box office success in the Benelux in 2008.

Dragonette:

Dragonette is a Canadian New Wave/Synthpop/Electropop group active since 2005. Dragonette consists of singer-songwriter Martina Sorbara, bassist and producer Dan Kurtz (also in The New Deal) and drummer Joel Stouffer.

Dragonette released a self-titled EP before being signed to Mercury Records and relocating to London, where they recorded and released their debut album Galore to moderate critical appreciation. A second studio album, Fixin to Thrill, was released in 2009.
