ahahaha... I borrowed the tape this was on from a Showbiz I worked at, and had it until I could find another Beta 1 player to copy this to VHS, and then to the guy who posted this. I'm pretty much the source for this!

Unfortunately, I was very young when the Furrever Friends came out, but I remember my mother buying me a second hand white cat from the Furrever Friends toy line. Seeing this video makes me wish I still had mine and I would love to have one of the puppet s that they used in the video. This entire video is so reminiscent of the 80s-the dance and powerhouse sound of the band, the choreography, big hair, and bright colors! It may be cheesy, but this decade knew how to party! So surreal!

Patrick Bateman was on his way to this concert, but then he remembered he had to return some videotapes.

@bodybuddy23 Wow, that's awesome! I am sure you have no idea of this, but I wonder what they did with those adorable Furrever Friends puppets? I'd give anything for one, haha!

Just...wrong... check out one puppet's double take on the dancer's backflip...and what's that chick doing in the corner right during the finale. She's like a hamster on its wheel.
It's true, you can see a dwarf hanging himself in the background if you look hard enough.

I remember someone showing me this vid years ago, still love it :) I wish they had made the plushes puppets like these! They would have been so much more fun to play with. Still, these were some of the most memorable toys from my childhood - I have all 6 plushes, I so wish they had actually mass produced the other prototype animals, such as the raccoon.

Well, I'm delighted that this is on YouTube, as I scripted and edited it a LONG time ago. (See billslycat's comment below.) As cheesy as it is, I'm actually pretty proud of the way it came together; I think it's got a lot of energy, and as I look at it years later, I'm really pleased with how the motion of the shots flows into each other. Savion Glover, huh? Now THAT'S cool.
