The Lost Pyramids Of Caral 2 of 5
Making this BBC video available for educational purposes...
from http://www.bbc.co.uk/science/horizon/2001/caral.shtml:
"The magnificent ancient city of pyramids at Caral in Peru hit the headlines in 2001. The site is a thousand years older than the earliest known civilisation in the Americas and, at 2,627 BC, is as old as the pyramids of Egypt. Many now believe it is the fabled missing link of archaeology - a 'mother city'. If so, then these extraordinary findings could finally answer one of the great questions of archaeology: why did humans become civilised?"
A lot has been discussed since this was put out.
From Seattle Times (December 23, 2004): "A Peruvian site previously reported as the oldest city in the Americas actually is a much larger complex of as many as 20 cities with huge pyramids and sunken plazas sprawled over three river valleys, researchers report."
Construction began in 3000 BCE (300-400 years before the people of Kemet/Egypt began the Pyramid of Djoser). These cities flourished peacefully for more than 1,200 years.

The origins of war lie in theft.....the first farmers were worried that their possesions, their land, their women would be stolen by those who still lived a hunter-gatherer existance.....so the farmers began to band together for mutual protection and eventually this process evolved into what we call civilization

THEFT otherwise why would you wage war... theft is the beginning; war is vengeance, the tribe over the hill has more children because they have better water and more slower animals nearby to kill
Then GREED begins theft......... I could go round in circles

There are also pyramids in Lambayeque. But according to the Piri Reis map dating back 17 000 years ago. In Peru civilization existed. Were believed to buildings on the same guns that are in the Peruvian jungle. I also believe that not living in a desert as shown if you knew the irrigation systems. Perhaps not shown in the Piri Reis map of the coast may have been part of the sea caral the Pyramid. Well do not know.
