when you looked at the screen you took out, was there any way you could take the glass of the display? my display is damaged and not the LCD itself... and I would like to only change that front glass... I read everywhere that it usually only gets changed together, but that would be bullshit, considering I have to throw away a perfectly good SAMOLED... there has to be something to be done..

where did you buy your lcd (digitizer) from. Im looking to replace my galaxy s2 as well

@miroslavsuvada They sell full housing + screen replacements. Unless you're looking to mod, then that's irrelevant to you.

@manuhack99 I'm in the same position, and had to buy the LCD + Digitizer(glass) as well. The problem is that the SAMOLED is actually a screen + digitizer fused together at the factory. Without special equipment, it's impossible to separate them; and pointless since you can't buy the digitizer separate.

Actually the thing is that if the phone gets hot when u play so much then it damages the screen cause

1.The battery gets hot which is too near to the screen.

2.The hardware inside gets hot which is attached to the screen.

so beware yur one can have lines in low light
