(Part Two)
On Wednesday, July 14, 2010, my friend Matt (CSX2788) and I spent the morning and afternoon in Ravenna, Ohio where NS's Cleveland Line crosses over CSX's New Castle Sub. When we first got to the Lake Street crossing, we had to share our spot with a Sperry Rail truck, and two NS work trucks. Not long after, however, they put down their rail wheels and got to working on track two of the Cleveland Line. Just because they were working did not mean that the rail traffic was put on hold. In our short time there we still managed to get 15 trains on Norfolk Southern, and 3 on CSX. Now both NS mains are open and in part two, you will see the following:
NS #9495 (C40-9W), BNSF #6147 (ES44AC), and (Ex- BN) BNSF #9629 (SD70MAC),
NS #9960 (C40-9W) and NS #9521 (C40-9W),
NS #7576 (ES40DC) and NS #9568 (C40-9W),
NS #9852 (C40-9W) and GMTX #9035 (SD60),
[11K] NS #8396 (C40-8W) and NS #9951 (C40-9W),
[20K] NS #7647 (ES40DC) and NS #7644 (ES40DC),
[262] NS #9463 (C40-9W) and NS #7503 (ES40DC), and
CSX #6040 (GP40-2) and CSX #6138 (GP40-2).
