  • That is a great video, I am no Hatusumi, in the least. I admire the grandmaster and all he teaches. I will continue to refine my techniques.

  • Yes the Bujinkan, I will try to practice proper bojutsu. Thanks for the video.

  • well yes and no!! The Bujinkan has some decent bojutsu like the vid "Hatsumi Bujinkan Daikomyosai 1993" look it up

  • so you should hold the thing from the last 1/3 of the length of the bo staff. What video's could you send me to to help.

  • using the whole thing!

  • Then what is the most efficient method of using the bo staff. Please enlighten me friend.

  • still not the most efficent way to use a bo staff!

  • yeah isn't it great. You will not understand my freind. Until your let go.

  • I love how he has a 5ft stick but only uses the last 10inches of it

  • I know that this should be performed with a great amount of speed in real time, but this technique worries me if I don't have a backup plan. I guess I should just do normal Bo strikes if we go back to a neutral position, correct? Some people might find it funny that I ask for advice with a Bo, against a knife, haha. But in all seriousness I'm just worried about them getting close if they happen to be able to take a strike. I'm thinking to just move back during strikes and keep the advantage...
