Fender Stratocaster 60th w/ Fender Blues Jr.

My mexican made 60th Anniversary Fender Stratocaster played through my stock Blues Jr. Really great guitar. Was gonna by the american version but liked the look and feel of the mexican better.

Is there really a difference between the anniversitys and the standard or americans?

IMO not really. There is a dif but its not that HUGH.

Thats a good idea. The thicker gauge strings you use on a strat the fuller the tone will be.

Yes, but the hammer-ons need a lot of work in between chords.

They're from 2006. I scored one before Christmas at the local music store, new and still in the box, for $399, a SWEEET deal.

A sad point, that last song was inspired by a picture that Julian Lennon drew of his childhood friend Lucy O'Donnell (later Veddon), who passed away recently on 22 September 2009, aged just 46.
